Hi, my PC won't post with 2 sticks of ram. I am using:

AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

I am running the latest BIOS

I have tried using either stick on their own and it posts ok, so I know it isn't a faulty stick, I have also tried using 2 sticks in different configurations and of course the MSI suggested config to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated, I have a feeling its because the ram is 3000mhz but unsure what i need to do about it in order for the system to post using both sticks.

Thanks

right, so splitting it between channel a and b is why it wouldnt work? so having both in either channel a or b will cause it to work?

right, but it doesn't work in 2&4 its only working in 3&4 (haven't tried 1&2 yet) the manual does say to use 2&4 but it doesn't work
