I wanted to know what are the pros and cons of overclocking a CPU. I heard that it shortens the life span. But by how much? Can you OC a ryzen 3 1200 on stock cooler? How much without messing around with voltage settings and stuff?

i would put ram at fastest jedec they could run apply the axmp option and see how you gain in speed on cpu without touching any voltages .
