Unable to shutdown

Hi,

everytime i goto shutdown my pc it sits there with the force shutdown options.. i click yes and thats all it does.. it never ever shuts down.. the only way i can get it to shutdown is to end every app on the taskbar and then shutdown.. its annoying to say the least..

any ideas?

The system is protecting itself from you, tho normally it pops up an "are you sure ?" message. Is the pop up perhaps obscured by an app ?

You are supposed to shut down every application before shutting down or you can lose data

This feature can be disabled
