My current set up:
i7-7700K
Asus Hero IX mobo
Corsair h115i AIO
Corsair RMx750 psu
MSI/Corsair 1080ti
Rosewill Cullinan tempered glass case
Evo 960 256 Gb M.2
Evo 850 1 Tb SATA
2x16 G.Skill Trident 3000Mhz

I recently moved my case to open up the back and fix up the cable management. This involved moving and rotating my case around quite a bit. When I started the PC back up the cpu temps were 90°C. I quickly shut it down. I eventually determine d that some air must be trapped in the pump from all the movement. I rotated the case around and tried to move any air out to the radiator. When I booted back up the temps were acceptable when idle in windows using Corsair Link. Unfortunately any load on the cpu at all causes the temperatures to spike up to 70 - 80°C such as opening Chrome. Any gaming and it quickly gets very hot. Corsair link reports that the pump is running and the cooling liquid is staying ~30°C. The radiator is staying cool to the touch. I never tracked the temps before but I feel this is not the way it was. Previously the cpu radiator would get warm durning long gaming sessions. Not sure if the pump still has some air that is affecting performance or if it might be some other cause. Any suggestions would be helpful.
thanks,
