Hi,

I've recently built a new gaming PC.
Motherboard: MSI Intel Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON
CPU: i7-7700K_CPU_@_4.20GHz
Graphics: GABYTE AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme 11Gb
Windows 10 64bit

I've installed all the drivers provided on the MSI website:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z270-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#down-driver

The problem is that when I go into device manager and check the driver provider for my processor it says that the provider is Microsoft. I would have thought it should be MSI?

I don't want to miss out on potential computing power by using a driver that isn't optimized for my build. I've tried downloading the driver from the intel website but it says: Your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

Do the drivers from the MSI website install drivers provided by Microsoft?
Does it effect my performance? Is there an alternative driver i could use? or will the one from Microsoft work fine?

Here's a Screenshot of the driver details:

I hope someone can help!
