Screen going black for 2 seconds at, apparently, random times

Hi, I recently built the following pc:

i7-7700k
Gigabyte 1080 WindForce OC
Asus Prime Z270-A
G.Skill DDR4 2400 32GB
H100i v2
Supernova G2 650W 80 Plus Gold
BenQ 1440p 60hz monitor connected through the DVI that came with it.
M2 SSD & HDD

I'm having an issue in which the screen would turn off for around 2 seconds and then come back, no "driver stopped working" message or anything. Sound and the application/game keep working just fine while the screen is off, no sound loops or other glitches, like if nothing had happened, If it's I game I can pause for example.

I've monitored temps and such and they seem normal, cpu and gpu say around 70, gpu a bit hotter usually. Fans aren't at maximum speed when this happends. Everything currently at stock clocks.

At first it seemed it only happened while gaiming (Witcher 3 was when I first saw it) but it has also happened on less intensive games and even once while watching a movie. It did not happened when I left furmark for a while and neither while using other programs that do good use of the gpu, 3d modelling and such. But, overall, it does seem to be more frequent while gaiming but still really variable, apparently random.

The issue looks like the one in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNwFoJWgajQ
But not nearly as frequent, If i'm playing it may happen once every 20-30 minutes more or less. Sometimes two blacks with a few seconds between, sometimes I play without it happening for a good while.

All drivers updated.

Does it sound like a software/drivers problem or hardware? Gpu, Psu, monitor?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance and tell me if there is other information that could be useful for troubleshooting.

make sure your mb has all of the newest bios file. that rule out a bios bug. under video driver and windows power saving settings. change windows power savings for the monitor to off. use just the gpu video drivers to put the monitor to sleep. use hardware info 64 bit set it to sensor and logging. make sure the power supply 12v rail is at 12v and not below it. if it below 12v it may be dropping and causing the gpu to reboot.

Thanks for the answer.
Latest bios, power settings set to never turn the screen off, also set scaling to full screen and on the gpu instead of the monitor which was the solution someone gave on a thread about a similar problem. But, mine still happened twice today, which is not much since I've playing a lot.

As for the 12v thing, don't know anything about that, I have CPUID HW Monitor, it has a voltages section about the motherboard saying:
+5v => 5.040v
+3.3V => 3.312v
+12v => 12.192v
Anything to do with it? If it's it then I'll leave it monitoring tomorrow and check if it goes below 12 when the screen goes black. I'll download the program you said if not.

Any other ideas?
