Hi!

I recently bought an Asus M5a99fx Pro R2.0 motherboard on eBay.

("Buyer beware," amiright? xD )

Anyway, since installation I've come to discover that the electronics surrounding the Realtek HD Audio microchip seem to have been damaged, which makes sense, since no matter what I've done to the software( drivers, resets, etc.), I can not get any of the six onboard 3.5mm connectors nor the two 3.5mm front I/O connectors to trigger the appropriate "Device Connected" dialogue in Windows 10 whenever an audio jack is inserted.

In the image below, I've circled what I believe to be the damaged components in red and what I suspect to be their intact equivalents in green.

(Also highlighted is the Realtek logo, for reference.)

I would like to know what I should do about this. Am I correct that the components circled in red are damaged/missing? Are they as I believe, namely, capacitors? How would I repair them?

Please let me know as soon as possible regarding the best-case scenario for this motherboard's repair, or, worst case, replacement.

Thanks in advance!
