Okay so I have narrowed it down by using the troubleshooting windows tools. I cannot get my HP laptop to start. I have replaced the hard drive. I downloaded windows 10 for USB and tried booting the windows 10 installation for my computer. Now I have had 3 HP computers all of them do the same thing. Either I have the worst luck with this or I'm doing something wrong when it quit working all I was doing was playing paladins. It's an AMD laptop a2. I start it up. I went to the troubleshooting tools, I then went to memory check and it says I don't have a hard drive in even though I literally just replaced the hard drive. Once I run the USB with windows 10 installation on it the computer goes to HP logo and spins for about 1 minute then it black screens I let it black screen for 3 hours just letting it sit there waiting for it to do anything and it did not this hard drive is perfectly working no problem whatsoever with it. The laptop it was in just had a cracked screen. What am I doing wrong? And what can I do to fix it without having to buy a bunch of stuff? I have tried using legacy boot. Clearing boot codes. I still haven't succeeded. I restored everything to factory. Even opened it back up and checked to see if all the wires were connected properly and they all were.

Okay, So I have an update on this, Now when then usb is no longer conneted to the laptop itself, The Computer has the HP Logo and spins around and around for about 3 minutes then goes to a black screen. Anyone know any way to fix this?

if you replaced the hard drive it could be an issue with the connection or the motherboard itself. Can't say for as you'll need a proper hardware tech to diagnose that for you. but a decent fix would just to a get portable HDD, to replace internal a hassle but cheaper that a new MoBO computer

Well that would be a nice fix. My only problem would be unplugging the harddrive LOL. that would be a mistake. But I thought it was the harddrive because I could literally hear the harddrive trying to spin then stopping. Then Spinning again And then stopping.

Well Im reinstalling the Windows Media Of Windows Installation into my usb, Im thinking maybe it wasn't installed properly the first time, Because It never did the 2 Sets of installation it only did one set then Was cleaning up and crashed I believe so, Im going to that and try and re run it then I will let you know, Because The computer seems to have detected the harddrive now, It all depends on if it is the motherboard or USB Drive that I was trying to use. I looked through the Connectors very thoroughly and they were perfectly fine. I didn't really see a single problem with either of them. No little marks all the Copper Ends, Or plugin Ends were perfectly fine, None of them chipped on motherboard end and on the Hard drive end. So We will see. Crossing my fingers because I am a computer freak and without a computer I can game on I will probably cry myself to sleep lol
