I'm aware that most 1070s have similar performance, but I would like to know which one of them you would prefer.

The Gigabyte because of the very good cooling solution that will operate very silently.

Isnt the strix better? That has three fans and the card is extended.

The Gigabyte also has 3 fans, it even has 3 100mm fans while the strix has 3 80mm fans.

The STRIX has the better cooler due to its 5 heatpipes. The GIGABYTE GV-N1070AORUS-8GD's cooler uses a 4 heatpipe design.

The STRIX has the higher factory default base clock/boost clock.

And yet the STRIX isn't running cooler than the Gigabyte.

Now when i think about it, I may confuse the Gigabyte card with Xtreme version.
