As long as your motherboard has the appropriate PCIe x16 slot to accept a modern GPU, then yes.
IF this is your correct model: https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c04800261 - then the specification on that page says yes it does have the PCIe x16 slot.
On top of this, you will want to make sure your GPU fits in the case, and that you have an appropriate PSU to suit the GPU.

According to the spec, it comes with a 180W PSU........
So its not designed for users to swap in another newer GPU even theres a PCI-E slot on ur motherboard.
For low profile cards like the GT1030, the chance of u getting it to run is still quite slim.
