Hello guys.

I've got a Gigabyte X79-UP4 motherboard and recently i've been getting this issue.

What happens is that when there is an unexpected power cycle ( power cut ) the computer wont boot unless I try really hard to fool it into booting by power cycling it over and over. This does not happen on a regular shutdown - reboot cycle ( where power remains in the system )

When it finally boots I'm greeted by the gigabyte Bios is Corrupted screen.
Power Supply is a Seasonic Gold X1250 Unit, so i doubt it's at fault.

Any clues as to what might be going on here? Maybe it's the motherboard battery? Maybe it's the bios Chip itself? Maybe the answer is ignoring the issue and getting a UPS?

I'm open to pretty much everything at this point as this happens on an almost weekly basis on account of my country's power delivery network being unreliable.

Cheers!
