PUBG Memory Leak

I've recently upgrade PUBG to the new early access month 5 update and it did increase my fps like they said it would, but it seems like be eating away at my memory. Now I know it's probably just a memory leak within the game and will need to be fixed with another patch but I'm wondering if there's anything on my end that I can do. One other thing I'd like to ask about is ever since the update, it's either my fps is 100+ or around 50 and it doesn't seem to follow a pattern as to when it changes. One thing I've noticed is that when it's at 50fps, it's only using about 50% of my GPU. I was wondering if there was any way to fix that issue as well. My temps for CPU are 60 and below and my GPU is always below 70 so I'm not really worried about heat being an issue.

Solution
Just an fyi if you don't do this already, but make sure to run everything at lowest except for maybe textures at low-med and view distance at ultra, helps clarity and frame rates heaps.

Also try downloading ReShade and enabling luma sharpen, vibrance, clarity and bloom.
Makes the game way easier to see, and looks much prettier! :)
Heat isn't an issue unless either is consistently above 80c, i'd pin it on simply early access optimization fps drops, mine
does the same thing too sometimes, it'll just go down to 60-70fps out of nowhere then fix itself 30 secs to a minute later.
Usage isn't necessarily indicative of poor performance or bottleneck, even when getting around the 100+fps mark which is what I average with a 1080 and 6700k as...

CPU usage stays around 40% across all 6-cores no matter what and GPU usage is typically at 50% when my fps is low and anywhere up to 80% when my fps is high.

All in all I think it's safe to say your system is perfectly up to scratch, and the FPS drops can be attributed to early access instability, that is unless 50fps is a constant framerate! :)

Yeah I figured as much, was just hoping there was some sort of temporary fix until the devs fixed the problem entirely. Maybe with steam launch options or something. Anyways, thanks for the response!

Yeah, unfortunately that's all up to them.
Btw, ReShade has been approved by the creator himself, so you won't get banned for using it, and it only has a 0.1 fps difference on performance with the effects enabled. :p
I've gotta say the dev team for PUBG is probably one of the most dedicated and consistently high quality teams i've seen in ages, good to see such huge progress being made on an early access title with so many players.
