Hi, i basically bought a relatively low budget gaming PC less than a year ago with intentions of upgrading it; after a period of time when I had money I got it upgraded.

Here is a short info report of the system:

Computer: GIGABYTE
CPU: AMD A8-7600 (Steamroller/Kaveri, KV-A1)
3100 MHz (31.00x100.0) @ 3809 MHz (38.00x100.2)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE F2A68HM-HD2
Chipset: AMD Bolton-2/3/4
Memory: 8192 MBytes @ 801 MHz, 11-11-11-28
- 8192 MB PC12800 DDR3 SDRAM - Silicon Power Computer & Communications SP008GBLTU160N02
Graphics: ATI/AMD Radeon R7 Series (KAVERI SPECTRE LITE DESKTOP 65W/100W) [GIGABYTE]
AMD Radeon R7 Series, 512 MB SDRAM
Graphics: Zotac GeForce GTX 750
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 1024 MB GDDR5 SDRAM
Drive: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224FB, DVD+R DL
Drive: AMD-RAID Configuration, Processor
Drive: TOSHIBA DT01ACA1, Disk drive
Sound: ATI/AMD Kaveri - High Definition Audio Controller
Sound: AMD Hudson-2/3/4 - High Definition Audio Controller
Sound: NVIDIA GM107 - High Definition Audio Controller
Network: RealTek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home (x64) Build 15063.608 (RS2)

After doing a userbenchmark test, it yielded these results:

UserBenchmarks: Game 19%, Desk 33%, Work 19%
CPU: AMD A8-7600 APU - 32.3%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 - 18.8%
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB - 43.6%
RAM: Unknown SP008GBLTU160 1x8GB - 25.2%
MBD: Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2

Saying it is performing way below expectations when compared to other with identical hardware. I'm wondering what possible reasons there might be for these results and what possible solutions there are because I'm extremely disappointed with the performance of the machine and the evidence yields because it isn't performing near to what is expected from it. Any advice? If any more details are needed or whatever other questions people have then feel free to ask them and I'll get the information they are looking for. Help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Your post seems to lack one critical point, what were you working with prior and what did you upgrade to? You didn't mention the make and model of your PSU as well as the chassis. Have you tried taxing the system with real world applications and seen if you have made any gains with your upgrade? More so we'd need to know what you had prior in order to understand if you made an upgrade vertically speaking instead of horizontally.

My gtx 750 drivers are up to date and when i just sit on the desktop doing nothing my CPU jumps about a lot; generally from 6% - 30% - 3.3-3.6GHZ but randomly goes as high as 80-100% without even touching or doing anything.
My memory sits at 1.4/7.4GB (26%); it doesn't fluctuate.

Oh sorry, this is exactly the original PC I bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007PBGN12/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The main details of it:

Brand: Vibox
Item model number VBX-PC-00040
Series Vision 2
Processor Brand AMD
Processor Type Athlon 64 FX
Processor Speed 3.7 GHz
Processor Socket SocketFM2
Processor Count 2
RAM Size 8 GB
Memory Technology DDR3 SDRAM
Computer Memory Type DDR3 SDRAM
Hard Drive Size 1 TB
Hard Disk Technology HDD 7200 rpm
Hard Drive Interface Serial ATA-300
Graphics Chipset Brand AMD
Graphics Card Description AMD Radeon HD 8370D
Graphics Card Ram Size 0.30 GB
Graphics Card Interface Integrated
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 6
Wattage 400 watts
Operating System None

I bought Windows 10 operating system myself and installed it on the PC.

Vibox offer a lifetime offer that if you want to upgrade your computer, they will install the parts for you so I took advantage of that and asked them for what upgrades they would suggest that were relatively budget but would make a boost to my systems' performance particularly in the interest of gaming.
These are the upgrades they suggested that were made to the original system from above:

3.1GHz AMD A8-7600K 4-Core Richland APU £79.99
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 1GB Graphics Card £99.95

I hope that helps answer your questions.
