HELP! I broke my CPU standoffs.

I was tring to install my Wraith Spire stock cooler on to my 1600, and if I screwed from one side, the other came off so I just pushed it down hard and screwed all the four tight. After building and installing Windows and steam, I tried to play games but it just froze and shut down, so I decided I should check what's wrong and found out in the BIOS that I was idling around 60*. When I took off the cooler to replace the thermal paste and install the cooler properly, the standoffs came out with it and my CPU backplate also fell off. It's tightened so hard I can't get the standoffs out and the washers have been squashed. What can I do?

there are two possible solutions:

1) Try repairing the standoffs, if you have access to welding tools, then you can weld the standoffs with backplate and use new washer and probably a new backplate. do this only if you know what you are doing.

2) Take it to a local and trusted computer shop, and ask them if they can repair it.

3) replace the cooler

The standoffs are stuck in the cooler how do i remove them?

Probably your best option would be to use two pairs of pliers: One to grip the screw head, the other to turn the standoff.

Old trick: Use two thin pieces of wood to pad out the jaws of the pliers you use on the stand offs, that way the threads won't be damaged and you'll be able to grip them rather than that tiny little shoulder that buts up against the screw itself.

I do wanna try getting the stock back working but i might just have to buy the evo.
Can you tell if it comes with a backplate and standoffs?
