As the title suggests, should I go for the P4000 or the 1080Ti? My primary use will be CorelDraw, 3ds Max, Maya and Photoshop.

Solution
P4000 all the way if you're not going to be gaming. The GTX1080Ti will accomplish the task for you but it'll be significantly slower than the P4000 when it comes to the above apps. FYI, the latter is more of a gaming card while the former is a workstation card and your work load consists of workstation apps.

I have to disagree. I run Adobe creative suite, Autodesk 3ds max design, lumion, Maya, and Sketchup pro all on Nvidia cards. The GeForce cards are comparable to Quaddro in performance but a a fraction of the cost. For instance, a Quadro K6000 $2,200.00 or so vs. a GTX 1080ti $900.00, no comparison given the cards perform just as well.

So you'd say 1080ti then?
