Hello there. Today I tried to OC my memory, G.Skill Ripjaws 4 2666 C15D. According to spec, it runs 2666 15-15-15-35 1.2V.
When i set XMP profile 2, which is supposed to run it a spec, it runs 16-15-15-35 1.36V. CL is set to 16 even if i tune it manually to 15. (Runs stable)
Then I tried to manually set all values to spec, even RAM voltage, and the pc wouldn't even POST.
Is that some kind of issue with the RAM or the BIOS version of my MoBo?
I also managed to hit 2993 16-16-16-36 at 1.36V, but I saw that Cpu fan was getting 1500rmp idle to maintain my set temps.
Can someone please explain?
