* * * HELP !...New Build. MSI Z170A SLI PLUS. Windows 7 Pro / Windows 10 Pro. Device Manager does not see the GTX 960 Graphics Card. Just says Standard VGA. Tried 2 different Cards that both work in my other system. Tired all 3 PCIe Slots. No Errors on Debug LED.Set the BIOS to "Default Settings" Same Thing.
BIOS Settings: PEG / IDG=PEG...PEGX=AUTO
When you use the *MOTHERBOARD EXPLORER* AND CLICK ON PCIE SLOT 2 (WHERE THE CARD IS) IT SAYS: "Nvidia Corp. VGA Compatible Controller Running X16"
Is there a BIOS Setting that would keep the Card from being seen in the Device Manager even after using the "Default Settings"?
It is a Used Motherboard" and I'm thinking is just defective.
Thanks...
