The above looks very sensible! If forced to shave off any money at all, the GTX1050Ti might do *if* playing only at 1080P res/60 Hz...but, it would likely need replacement within a year, so, the 1060 (6 GB) is a good option if affordable....

Sure because for the price the i5-7500 isn't as fast. Also an i5 coffee lake is 6 cores so wait for the i3 quad $110 next month. I treally takes an i5-7600k to outperform the 1600. The i5-7600k costs about 30 more plus you have buy a $30+ cooler.

The 1600x is just a higher clocked 1600. With the B350 you can set the clock higher on your own and even do better than the 1600x stock.
Clock rate and buying aftermarked cooler are the 2 things that seperate the 2 CPU's.
