My CPU temps started to jump after I took my PC when I fled Irma, it was in the back of my car for a week or so.
Everything works fine but I noticed my CPU temps are far from stable at least it's not like it used to be.

Should I reapply thermal paste and do I have to remove the motherboard from the case to do so?

Solution
Vibration could have damaged the dry thermal paste. Try taking off the heatsink and clean the heatsink and CPU of old paste. Use rubbing alcohol to remove the old paste. Then use some good paste like AS5. You can get the rubbing alcohol from any store and get the paste in the link.
