Hi,

So I have just received a newly built pc-
-Seagate ST2000DX002 FireCuda 2TB SATA3 8GB NAND Desktop SSHD

-G.Skill 16G(2x8G)F4-2400C15D-16GFX DDR4 2400 MHZ 1.2V

-MSI B350 PC Mate AM4 ATX Motherboard

-AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 4-Core Socket AM4 3.6GHz CPU Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler

-Asus ROG-STRIX-RX560-O4G-GAMING

I bought it and had it built by umart and received it yesterday. I tried starting it to install windows 10 off a usb (which has been used to install on a laptop successfully) and it freezes on the mother board screen with msi pro series visible on the screen and the loading dots stuck. It won't allow me to press f11 to boot or del to get into bios. If I restart the pc and am quick enough I can use these buttons and it gets into bios fine. If I choose to boot and select the usb it goes to a screen with the windows logo and then the loading dots come up and freezes again. I have tried booting directly off the usb and it takes me straight to that screen and the loading dots freeze again.

Help would be great.

Solution
1| Make and model of your PSU?
2| If you can get into BIOS, can you remain there without fear of a freeze/hang?
3| If you're able to move around in BIOS without a fuss, try and see what BIOS version you're on and if you require a BIOS update.

1. Antec 550W True Power Classic. 80Plus Gold.

2. Once in bios everything is fine and no fear of freezing

3. Will look at that now
