Pentium g4400 , 8gb ddr4 ram, corsair vs450 psu. so my monitor has only vga port so i selected to go with Zotac GT730 2gb ddr5 . i am on a budget and also other card doesn't have VGA port. i this ok for 720p gaming? (don't need 60fps at ultra settings)

Solution
well, that's why they invented an active converter dude
i'm using a 1050ti on a real old monitor (no digital output AT ALL)

just plug in an active converter and i can use the HDMI port of my 1050ti with the VGA port of my monitor XD
u should try that :)

however if u already bought the GT 730:
yes, it'll do (this is coming from a guy who use GT 630 before changing to 1050ti)
even my GT 630 can play dota, csgo, skyrim smoothly on 768p with tweaked settings and GTAV on the lowest setting...

well i use adapter and i say the game runs fine :)
ur friend probably implying to the graphic quality, which should be true, since the data are being converted to analog after all... (while HDMI usually is fully digital)

but i prefer the performance anyway(i mean, GT 730 vs 1050ti? u can ask anybody and they would say "1050ti + adapter anyday" when they had the budget to do so)
