all games crashing and everything is really glitchy

This happened yesterday and i cant fix it, when ever i try open a gpu intensive game like rust or ark survival evolved it will be really glitchy and will crash about 1 minute after. I have updated my graphics card drivers but it is still happening. Any help would be very appreciated

It is not just games I get glitches on my desktop and the screens flash on and off sometimes. there are weird lines and dots that pop up on the screen
