Hey guys, I was just wondering if two ASUS ROG PG279Q's would fit on my 131x60 desk of whether I'm better off with two 24 inch monitors?

Yes, the 27" monitors will fit - but depending on your configuration of the monitors (and other equipment you will put on the same desktop surface).

The two Asus PG279Q, when placed side-by-side (panels directly facing in front) parallel to your 131cm-long desk, will take up a grand total length of 124cm, leaving you with only 7cm of length-space available (which will not be enough if you have a full/mid tower chassis beside the monitors on the same desk area).

However, if you are going to position the two PG279Q's in such a way that one monitor will be slightly off-center of the desk, while the other monitor beside it will be at an angle of about 45-degrees, then the grand total length these monitors will take up will only be 106cm, leaving you with an ample 25cm of space for your chassis' width.
