Hi guys, I'm a novice when it comes to overclocking but have read that XMP presets are "safe." My question is as follows: I purchased the following RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz.
In the bios there's a Profile that allows me to adjust the speed (defaulted to 2133) higher. I was intending to set it to 2933 but learned that there's one higher setting at 3200. Give that my RAM is 3000MHZ, is it safe to choose the highest setting, given that it's part of the XMP?
Thanks!
