so guys im [strike]making[/strike] building a computer i just wanna know if these will be enough for me to at least run gta v on ultra

core i5-7600k
pny gtx 1050 ti oc 4gb
h270 motherboard
500 psu
8gb ram
120gb ssd
1tb harddrive

Or should i replace the core i5 with the i7-7700 because ive read that i5-7600k is better as it could be overclocked too. so i just wanna know if i will be able to play games on high settings on these components.

Solution
I5 = 4 core /4 thread
Ryzen 1600 = 6 core / 12 thread

More future proof , masses more CPU compute headroom, single core performance is close enough to be negligible.

The 7600k once you've bought an aftermarket cooler & paid for a z series board is awful value IMO

Even though an i7 7700 loses ever so slightly n)on single core performance it has 4 core /8 threads , comes with a cooler & can be paired with a b250/h270 board - it'll cost about the same as a 7600k setup & is just plain better.
games are starting to show limitations with 4 threads now - expect it to get worse I'm the future

The 7600k can be overclocked. Benchmarks show that you'll see less than a 5% performance gain by upgrading to the 7700K. Upgrade the GPU if anything. Benchmarks show you'll average about 45FPS on 1080p at max settings with a 1050 Ti. You'll get 63 FPS with a 1060.

No. There's no real reason to overclock, but it will let you get more mileage out of your chip. I have a 3rd generation i5 with a Geforce 1070. A mild overclock to 4.3GHz is helping me get the most out of the GPU. I'm not sure what the price difference is between the H270 and Z270 motherboards, but it could be worth the upgrade. The 1060 is known to be a solid performer. I guess it's all about your budget as far as these things go.

The 7600k does not come with a cooler which means youll need to factor in another $25-40 for one.

The ryzen chips are a far better buy at the moment if they're available in your location ,the 1500x & 1600 come with good coolers , are not a milion miles behind the i5 in performance & in 99% of the world cost substantially less money.

Are you actually in the uk ??

At this present time I can't see Any sense whatsoever in any i5 CPU.

Intel coffee lake is due 6-8 weeks , the new i3 chips are full 4 core , one has a 4ghz base clock which is to all intents faster than the current 7600k.

These chips will 99% likely be $40-50 less.

All the new i5 range are 6 cores & are likely to be around the 7600k pricepoint - its essentially making the current i5's completely defunct IMO
.

If you must go Intel now this minute my advice is make it an i7 7700.

By the time you've added a good cooler to the 7600k its close to the same price .

Ryzen would still be first vote this minute - you sure these aren't stocked locally at all ??
