I have a Ryzen 5 1600 at 3.7ghz at 1.275v with the stock cooler. I'm getting temps in the lower 70's c while gaming. mostly play r6s, overwatch, bf1 and pubg. I feel these are kind of high for just gaming. On prime 95 i get around 80 degrees c. Is it possible i didn't apply my cooler correctly or the stock cooler just suck? I'm on a Msi b35 pc mate motherboard and corsair spec 02 case with two intakes in front and 1 outake. any help is appreciated.

edit. I used cpuid hwmonitor and Ryzen master and they both tell me the same temps. Also have my motherboard at the latest bios idk if that helps .

It's because of your overclock. The stock cooler wasn't exactly made for a moderate overclock like that. At stock settings it should run just fine, but with an overclock like that using only the stock cooler, that seems normal.

The Wraith coolers are actually very solid coolers, but they can only realistically handle light overclocks, say to around 3.4 to 3.6 GHz.
