Youtube is very slow on my semi powerful computer

Hi so i dont know why but youtube is very slow on my computer that has a ryzen 7 1700 and 16gb of ram. I thought it was google chrome on the whole that was slow but i think it is just youtube itself that's sluggish. Anyone else experiencing these problems?

Have you tried updating Drivers? Video and Chipset drivers, more specifically...

With some of my previous builds, I experienced this issue with both Firefox and Chrome. Nvidia beta drivers were my answer (Using Nvidia card, of course). On that note, I'm not saying to use beta drivers as they aren't the best way to go (could have stability issues), but in my experience, I've never really had a problem with a beta driver.
