Would Compaq M2N68-LA Support this processor? Or this RAM?

You can't install an Intel cpu in an AMD motherboard. The board also only suppprts DDR2.

If the system is currently up and running run CPU-z and check what ram is currently installed.

What DDR3 modules? Your motherboard supports 2 GB modules for a maximum of 4 GB.

Okay so update: I installed the two 4gb sticks and the screen was black for awhile but then putting one in at a time or something eventually got it to turn back on. BIOS still doesn't see them but everything else -- Windows and CPU-Z does. Will be buying a new computer anyway because my motherboard doesn't support a good processor and I'll be moving the RAM sticks to that. Thanks guys.
