Oh, that's different.
There will NOT be a "Factory Reset" in there.

All you can do is a full wipe and reinstall of the OS, and everything else. Drivers, all your applications, etc.

What OS is this?

But i don't have a windows 7 disk that i can use to reinstall...

I have the license key now but when i go on microsoft website it says error

Well then...it may be a bogus license key.
Your friend built this and installed the OS?

Call MS and see what they say.
