Hello, i m planning to add more ram to my pc, because i need more ram for editing videos. My current mobo is b350 krait gaming running with Ryzen 7 1700, i have already installed 2x8gb g skill tridentz rgb 3000mhz and i want to add another 2x8gb same model. So my questions are:
1. Will there any problem with installing rams on my mobo, my mobo has 4 dimms and im not sure if it supports quad channel?
2, Will ram frequency maintains same or it will reduces with installing more ram?
Thank you for help, english is not my mother language, forgive me if i made any mistake.

Solution
you most likely will experience some issues.

Ryzen and B350's are a great little match up. but they are very sensitive to ram.

You would normally have matched kits, which your first 2 x 8 Gskills are. But when you get a second set the timings, build materials could change, and you will have to do some troubleshooting to get them to work.

I've seen many reports of when people populate all DIMM slots. It often means having to run all 4 dimms at lower speeds. So don't be surprised if that happens.

The B350 is dual channel only. So even when you populate all DIMM slots, it still only dual channel. You just have twice as much ram.

You may be able to get a 2 x 16gb matched set which would rule out some issues occuring, you could sell you...
