gpu usage goes down and up and i don't think it's bottlenecking

hello,i have an i3 4150 6gb of ram win 10 pro and GTX 750ti and while i'm playing games on a longer period of time(let's say above 1 hour)my gpu usage goes up and down from 100% to 40% and so on and it's really frustrating and even if i'm overclocking(which i normally don't do)that doesn't solve the issue any help

Depends on the game but an i3 could well be bottlenecking you. What is your CPU usage look like in these games when you GPU usage drops? Also ram amount could be playing a role. Many games need 8GB or more of ram these days. What games are you have trouble in?

uhh.. i don't monitor cpu usage but i'll tell you once i do,the games i have trouble with are AC unity and AC syndicate,that's all the games i've been playing lately since buying this new card

On AC Syndicate and AC Unity you are only running the minimum amount of ram. Not to mention unity is buggy and a performance hog to begin with. So in AC Unity at least...you may be getting what you should FPS wise. LMK what your CPU usage looks like on both though when your GPU usage drops.

thermal throttling.. 100c maybe i need to change the thermal paste
