Hello there, I have been having troubles with my computer for several months now, 3 repeated short beeps on startup have been preventing my computer from starting properly.

For several weks, these beeps would last for 15-20 seconds and then the computer would boot. I wouldn't notice any unusual bugs or anything while using my computer after startup.
Now, it just does 2 series of 3 short beeps, turns off and back on again on its own, and so on to infinity.
I have read on several forums that this could be due to ram issues, so I bought a new stick and tried it without the ones I already had, but had the same results. I tried with no ram but I just get a long beep.
My screen also does not get any signal so I'm pretty much blocked here.

Should I change my motherboard? Any suggestions or solutions are extremely welcome as I need to either repair my computer quickly or buy another one if there is no way to fix it.

Thanks a lot

I would try a different motherboard. It looks like on similar posts the 3 beeps can imply RAM issues, or a problem with the memory controller on the MB itself which means you will need a different motherboard.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll wait a bit to see what other people have to offer, but it might have to be that way.
Is there a possibility that I hurt my componants if I change MB ?

I haven't tried that. That would indicate a bad gpu if it started ?

Ok, I have tried WITHOUT the GPU and with all my sticks one at a time.

1. WITH a stick a NO GPU, the same 2x 3 beeps and turn on/off happens.

2. With NO STICK and NO GPU, a succession of 3 long beeps happen and the computer doesn't turn off on its own.
