Hi There,

Specifications of the system

CPU: Intel i7-7700K
MoBo: Aorus GA-Z270X- GAMING 7
RAM: G.SKILL TRIDENTz RGB (4x8GB)
SSD: Samsung 960 Evo M.2 1TB

I have just completed building this system for the very first time. I read through the user manual to double check which ram sticks should be installed into which slot etc, but when I go to boot the system with all 4 Ram Sticks installed, the system lights up then turns off and the screen remains black.

So I then removed 2 sticks to keep 2 inserted into dimms 2 and 4 (user manual states this is channel A), then attempted to boot but still no post only case lights and system fan movement, then starts to do an infinite loop.

I then test each ram stick individually and found that I can get the system to boot 100% and is useable with only one ram stick installed into dimm slot 1 (furtherest away from CPU and inside Channel B)

I would really like to get my system up and running with all 32GB of ram installed, so I am hoping one of you amazing tech people here can give me some advice.

I must note that with 2-4 ram sticks installed I cannot even get into Bios to edit voltages or anything. Bios only seems to be available with 1 ram stick installed.

I have currently got the latest bios firmware available for this mobo (F8a).

Hope to see some responces soon with something that I can attempt to get this issue resolved.

Thanks,
Kieran
