My server was running 2 HD 500GB each with Raid 1, on Windows 2012R2. I needed to add more HD space so I got 2 more SATA drives 1TB each and connected them.

I've never setup RAID before, but on bootup I did Ctrl-I and setup the new drives as Volume 1 RAID1 and left the original HD as Volume0 RAID 1.

But now the system will not boot. I get a message:

The Boot Configuration data for on your pc is missing or contains errors.
File \efi\micorosoft\bootbdc
Error Code 0xc000000f

I tried repair utility and the external media recovery cd, but it couldn't repair anything and Ive tried the automatic repair and it doesn't work either. If I boot to command prompt I can see the 2 original 500GB hard drives and all the content is still there, but I cannot look at the new ones or I can't figure out what driver letter they are to look at them.

How can I get my system to boot again and get both Volume 0 and volume 1 HD working?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

My guess is that your BIOS has made an assumption that you need to change. I think it assumed that the NEW "disk" (the new RAID1 array) is the one you need to boot from, and of course that won;t work.

Go into BIOS Setup and find where your Boot Priority Sequences is set. Set that up so your system tries firt to boot from the old (500 GB, Volume 0) RAID1 array, and does NOT try to boot from the new array. Remember to SAVE and EXIT after making the adjustment. That should get it going.

I don't know exactly how your RAID management utility does its setup of the new volume. It may have already Formatted the unit so it is ready to use for data. But if not, you MIGHT have to Format it.

The original 500GB RAID1 was setup as volume0 and I setup the new 1TB RAID1 as Volume1.

I tried disabled each drive to boot from the others, and then i also tried connecting just the original drives and it wont boot from any drives.
