Best Price to Performance under 200

Hey,

I am looking for the best price to performance CPU under 200, however if it's a worthy performance increase I could stretch it. It needs to at least be able to play modern games at 60fps. I would like it to be fast for other programs like 3D rendering and some video editing potentially. AMD or Intel.

Ok, would either the ASUS Prime or ASUS Strix work. Also which one is better.

the 1600X is a huge waste of money

get the ryzen 5 1600 which DOES come with a cooler, overclock it and you will get the same performance as the 1600X for $30 less.

You have some money to spare? then put those 30 dollars you save on the 1600 over the 1600x, grab aftermarket air cooling and take the 1600 to 4 GHz. It will outshine the 1600X

Strix boards are very expensive

if your budget is under $2000 I don't think you are going to benefit from its features.

Get the B350 prime, it can do gaming, editing, etc
