I just made a new pc for my friend.
Every component came just out of the box and at first power up, the power button led didnt light up while it was correctly connected. The pc wasnt able to be turned off with neither the reset switch nor the power switch.
Also did the ez debug light bright up right when u started the system.
Now here is the weird part, whilst trouble shooting and trying littarly everything that possible, the pc booted up, i was able to get into the bios. Now i restarted tbe system and suddenly it didnt work anymore.
And i stumbled on the same problems.
I tried everything for a second time which did not help. There was 0 video output. Also the mouse and keynoard didnt show any kind of activity when turning in the pc.
Here is the list of everything i did:
- Single slot ram with both sticks
- Reseat the cpu
- Reseat all the cables
- made sure the 8 pin 24 pin and 6pin connectors were connected to the motherboard and gpu, they all were
- Resetting the cmos
Every fan seems to be working and so do the hard drives and the gpu.

Cpu: AMD Ryzen 3 1300x
Mobo: MSI a320m grenade
GPU: MSI GTX 960 4gb
PSU: coolermaster masterwatt lite 500w
Ram: G.skill Ripjaw 2x 4gb 2400mhz
HDD: 2x seagate 7200rpm 500gb
Case: coolermaster masterbox lite 5
