I just bought Gigabyte H110M-S2V mobo and I'm wondering if it will work with Intel Pentium G4600? Socket is the same (LGA 1151), on Gigabyte website it says that this mobo supports 6th and 7th gen but I want to make sure.
This is the whole build:
CPU: Intel Pentium G4600, Dual Core, 3.60GHz, 3MB, LGA1151, 14nm, 51W, VGA, BOX
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3GB
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2V, H110M, DDR4, SATA3, USB3.0, microATX
RAM: HyperX Fury Black 8GB, DDR4, 2133MHz, CL14, 1.2V
PSU: Cooler Master B500 V2 500W RS500-ACABB1-EU

Solution
You need to use a 6th Gen Skylake CPU to flash BIOS before using a 7th Gen Kaby Lake G4600. A Celeron G3900 is about $40.

Many people skip the H110 Chipset model and use a newer B250 Chipset motherboard which needs no BIOS update for 7th Gen Kaby Lake CPUs.
