Hello
Can anybody confirm that the (EVGA) GeForce GTX 1050Ti (SC 4GB) works together with
the ASRock H81M-HDS? According to this post it should work:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3270012/gtx-1050-compatible-setup.html
But, I have a "black screen" problem with the mentioned graphics card and my following setup:
Mainboard: ASRock H81M-HDS
CPU: Intel Core i5 4570 Haswell Socket 1150 LGA
BIOS: P2.20 (latest Version)
Power: Thermaltake Berlin 630W
System-RAM: 8 GB
OS: Win7 64bit
The problem is:
When the GeForce GTX 1050Ti is plugged in the system boots with the screen beeing and staying black. That is the ASRock/BIOS Logo is not displayed, the Windows start up screen is not displayed -nothing is displayed at all. Interestingly Windows starts "normally" - I hear the short Windows startup melody, but the screen stays black.
The fans of the new GTX are spinning and there are no beeps while booting.
So the whole system behaves somehow like there is no graphics adapter plugged in or connected to a monitor or like the mainboard just does not recognize the graphics card.
Things I did/checked:
- Uninstalling all old drivers (old PCI-E card (MSI GTX 570 TwinFrozrIII) / Intel HD 4600) via
DDU
- Setting the primary graphics in the BIOS to PCI-E
- Monitor(s) (Iiyma, Dell) and Cable(s) (DVI, HDMI, VGA) all work with my old graphics card (MSI or Intel set to primary in BIOS)
- I mailed the ASRock support days ago describing the problem, but they don't reply ...
- I don´t have the possibility to put the card into another system for all my folks beeing notebook users ...
So maybe someone in the forum has any suggestions to solve the issue or knows that my setup does NOT work the GTX 1050Ti.
Thanx a lot and kind regards
