Hi there,
Do you guys know any decent video games that will bring back this addiction and great feeling that all of us had when they were younger and played their first videogames?
I loved to play Minecraft with some friends on a server we hosted ourselves (although i normally do not like Minecraft at all)
I have the best memories playing Napoleon : Total War with some guy on the internet (who was my first steam friend) using only the chat and no TS or smth like that
I remember being excited as <Removed> playing through AC 2
watching lets plays of BF3
and then hopping into bfbc2 joining a clan and having the biggest fun on earth destroying helicopters.

BUt nowadays no matter how good a game is and how many I play I just dont get satisfied by it. I dont game anymore, just like 2 hours a week and when looking at my desktop I see nearly 1TB of great games but none of them looks interesting to me.

What has happened :c?

Have you considered maybe it's PC games in general you are bored with?

Otherwise, you list a fairly broad category of games there, and since YOU don't even know why you are bored I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I actually have the same problem.

Actually, in terms of BATMAN ARKHAM series I played the first game four times but only got about 25% through AK. I found that Arkham Asylum was small and manageable, but then the games got bigger to the point my brain didn't want to commit to the time.

*Maybe a good, SMALLER experience?

What about Hellblade Sensua's Sacrifice (with stereo headphones at night preferably)?

It reads like you enjoyed the social element of playing games with friends and really the games yourself. Sounds like your challenge is finding like minded people to play games with. I have very fond memories of drinking and playing a few games with friends where normally I wouldn't play that game.

welcome to the playstation generation, where social games are full of trolls, bad language, unhelpful and selfish afk, etc. rarely voip unless its a stream of swearing at mistakes.

you dont get that with friends. whitty banter, chat about other stuff whilst playing, genuinely helping eachother (along with a few swear words for good measure).

you need an mmo that isnt a fps., join a guild in an mmorpg or something.

For an immersive game, mostly horror, I would advise the Dead Space series or Alien Isolation.
As for an addictive game, the Civilization V is very good. (Just.. one .. more.. turn..)
X-Com 2 is also very entertaining.
For strategic combat where communication plays a very important role, I would say Rainbow Six Siege is the winner.

Or you've just gotten older and are not as crazy about the same things as you used to be. Not saying there are no games out there to at least peak your interest, but I doubt you'll ever get as excited about them as when you first started playing as a kid.
