http://www.overclock.net/t/1621347/kaby-lake-overclocking-guide-with-statistics this is the best guide imo, basically just follow it step for step. Like I said though make sure you download good monitoring software for your temps. https://www.cpuid.com/ my favorite site for the monitoring software, I like HWMonitor myself. The 4.8 should be easily obtained also, you could possibly go higher unless you are unlucky with your silicone lottery.

The 7700k does have known temp issues that's why I say be very careful, it spikes a lot. I have a very similar set up to what you have and 4.8 was no problem at all to obtain. You will read more about it in the guide, I am not very good at explaining things myself but basically you want to achieve...

You definitely have the right set up to attempt an overclock, 4.8 should be easily attainable with that set up. There are many guides on how to properly do it. Just remember to observe temps.

I see you have 3200 MHz ram, do you have it running at the 3200? Because technically that is an overclock, you should have went into your bios and set it to an XMP profile. If you haven't then your ram is most likely running much slower. If you need help with that let me know. Its MUCH easier than overclocking CPU, you literally just change a profile in your bios.

I agree with Chad_40

Use the link to overclock.net that he posted. Very good info there on what to do and how to overclock the kabylake cpu`s.

Use HWmonitor to watch you temps, Voltages, etc.

Use Aida64Extreme (no you dont need the full version) to stress test the system for stability.

If your CPU hits 80 - 85 degree celcius I would recommend you to stop since its getting pretty hot.

There are ways to deal with the high temps that alot of 7700k`s are troubled with if you are unlucky and get a toasty one. But its a risky rute to take since you could destroy your CPU and have to buy a new one.

I did it since my 7700k was a bad one when it came to temps. I was running 90ish degree celcius when it was at stock settings.... Very very bad

So after a delid to swap out the stock intel thermal paste to liquid metal + bringing the IHS as close as possible to the CPU die... My temps are alot nicer :)
Mine is running 5.1GHz 24/7 @ 1.328 Vcore and during idle I stay around 19 - 25 depending on ambient temps. Gaming I see around 40 - 52 depending again on ambient air. Full out stress test like Prime95 and Aida64 I never ever go over 62 degree celcius.
