the mic on my desktop pc sounds absolutely horrible when i try to use it, its extremely quite at max volume and boost and overall sounds really bad.
the same mic sounds good on my laptop with it being nice and loud and not distorted, the drivers for the mic are exactly the same for both computers.
im just not sure if its the motherboard or what..... hope anyone here can point out a small problem that my dumb brain missed
CPU - AMD - FX-8350 4GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard - Asus - M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory - Crucial - Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Video Card - MSI - GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card
UPDATE - the earphones mic sounds alright but the headset mic still sounds horrible (head set im using is razer kraken pro, earphones im using Samsung akg (galaxy s8 ones))
PS - i know the the motherboard and CPU are not good friends but it works fine for me and im good if it works
