So recently (today) i wanted to enter my bios to turn off my hyper-threading, and found i can't enter it. I've tried all the F number keys, and esc/delete. I even tried shuting down my computer and turning it back on holding windows + B keys. Also when i go into windows 10 settings, recovery, advanced. I don't have a UEFI Firmware option. System is an HP pro 3130 MT, windows 10, i-870, 8 gb ram, 750gtx ti gpu.

Solution
do you have fast boot enabled in bios? this can sometimes cause this problem. i would try clearing cmos by jumper on the board or removing the cmos battery for several mins if you can not locate the jumper.

You were correct taking the battery out and moving the jumper to reset bios defaults worked. Also I might have fast boot enabled, because i still can only get into the bios after shutting down the computer and turning it back on, restarting it for some reason i can't access the bios. I also got a warning when trying to enter the bios, not to change settings after computer comes from hibernation state, Not sure if that's what caused the problem, but seems OK now.
