What component would give me the best performance boost?

I am wondering whether upgrading my CPU or GPU will give me a better performance boost. I have a 6600k (oc to 4.5) and a rx 480 8gb. I am planning to spent around £400 and will be upgrading in a few months. Any recommendations would also be appreciated, thanks.

Graphics card defiantly.

Something like a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080.

Even a Vega 56 if you have the PSU to power it.

Any of those would be a large boost over the RX 480.

Going from an RX 480 to a GTX 1080 was a 71% + increase in performance on my machine. Over 90% in some tests.
