Should I switch to my dominant hand for aiming with mouse(left hand)?

For 2 years now I have been PC gaming (playing a lot of FPS games) and I still can't aim properly to this day, I have accuracy issues in gunfights that I should not lose more often than not. I have tried low sensitivity (80 cm/360) and high sensitivity(12cm/360) alike and everything in between, I own 3 expensive mice, the SteelSeries Rival 300, Zowie ec1-a, and Zowie fk1, at first when I started I thought it was a sensitivity issue but even then when I lowered my sensitivity I would still do terrible for some odd reason. I want to know, is it worth it to switch? Should I take weeks of my time to build muscle memory that I lose with my right hand, has anyone gone through a similar experience and changed from aim to their non-dominant right hand to their left hand, and did your accuracy improve? I play lots of tactical shooters like rainbow six siege and have to outsmart the enemy and think like them should I break the skill ceiling I reached?

Solution
Yes, dominancy affects latency. Or keep practicing and use a config on your mouse and give yourself long enough to attune to it. Ensure your polling is at 500. Fine tuning micro movements of the mouse is a must.
