My friend gave me his computer for free because it kills a hard drive in 2-3 years and he has had it for 6-8 years. I bought a brand new HDD and a SDD with window's 10. I use a wireless wifi adapter but when I try to put on a new network it crashes my computer. How can I fix this?

What parts in the pc?

Can do the next,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons
for the psu do you need to check inside. Give maker+model+wattage.

You have the latest drivers for the wifi card?

I'm done. You just come here with two posts and vote down an answer from one who is really trying to help you. Good luck with it.
This is not some Facebook forum with likes,,if someone really says something stupid is a votedown maybe granted, but doing this just to be a ... is rubbing me the wrong way.

That is not what I am doing. I am explaining the problem. If you had read what I just said you would have seen that I couldn't do what you said I should try. In order for me to download/ install what you told me to do I need internet but my pc has been crashing every time I try to fix the wifi problem.
