1920x1080 or less resolution , games on 1k or 2k ? pro ?

there is no 1k (never heard of it at very least)
2k is another name for the 1440p
while 4k is for the 2160p
so people refer them as 1080, 2k/1440p, and 4k (they rarely use the 2160p) most of the times
30 fps is playable and not bad, however the 60 fps is smoother, but if ur GPU capable of 60 fps, why bother going for the 30 fps?
GTX1060 are meant for 1080p, u have to take into consideration that even 1060 6 GB would be pretty bad on 1440p (why play on 1440p@30 when u can have 1080p@60...), moreover, urs GPU is the 3 GB version, bigger resoluion = more pixels = more VRAM required
if u had a 1080p monitor as native, u won't be able to play with resolution higher than native so just enjoy what u have

What? There is no 1K. There is HD 1080p, 2K is usually double the pixels and 4K is 4 times the pixels 3840x2160.
Yes. If you play games at higher resolutions, you will lose performance. But the game will look better. Especially if you have a monitor bigger than 24 inch.

1k 60 fps. 30 is slow and sluggish. I mean if you're used to 30 fps it might seem ok but it's a huge difference.
I played Witcher 3 for 150 hours at 30+ fps and when I switched to 60 it felt like I was playing a different game. And 22 inch is too small to see the difference in pixels.
And I'm not sure there is a 2k resolution, usually 1440p is the intermediate resolution and it's a bit below 2k

i'll choose fps over the resolution, ur GPU can handle 1080p@high (or tweaked depending on the game), that GPU was meant for 1080p anyway..
if u're looking into 2k/1080p@144, u'll need 1070 or Vega 54 to have an enjoyable experience
let's put it this way:
u can play high @ 1080p with 60+ fps
why do u even bother to go on low/med @ 1440p? dialling the setting down while stepping up the resolution, worth it? if u play on 20-30 fps, will u enjoy the game as much as when u play with 60fps?

so i should run it on 1080x720 ?
"7680x4320" is mentioned as maximum digital resolution supported, not the advertised gaming capability
(probably had something to do with the display's port count)
