PC won't factory reset after downloading some potential viruses.

So I was scrolling in the depths of the web and fell interested in downloading some torrents. When attempting to install, said torrents, I found myself downloading about 20 excess programs (on accident, of course.) Now every 5 seconds, I get either porn or adobe flash player updates on my screen. So after crying away my frustration, I came back to my senses, and realized that I needed a fix, and asap. I tried to restore from a previous point, and found myself just waiting 20+ minutes for the page to load. I also tried to restore my PC to a new state, and again, I found myself staring and waiting for response. I tried to do these same steps, but in safe mode, and again, nothing. And before you say "Oh do a Factory Reset in your bios," I have looked and my PC doesn't have that option.

Wanted to make my post different to others, just by adding in something else. If you dont like that version, heres a more simpler one...

I downloaded some torrents and have a lot of viruses, and now I can't factory reset my pc. Was wondering if there is any way to remove these viruses, or have a way around and reset it a different way, or ect. Thanks in advance!

Solution

A) Wipe the drive and reinstall everything from original media.

or

B) Take it to a reliable shop and have them do it.

How would I go about doing this? I'm not too familiar with computers. Just trying to play some games...
