Can i3 6098p work well on Asus strix B250F board

Dear all,

Is i3 6098p processor ok with Asus b250f strix gaming motherboard or should it be upgraded to i3 7100 processor.

Is i3 6098p with Asus b250f strix board and Asus strix 1060 6gb card ok for gaming ?

They will work just fine but of course the i3 7100 is a bit better due to higher clock speed 3.90 GHz vs 3.60 GHz. Those i3 may bottleneck a little on CPU intensive games such as GTA V and Minecraft Perhaps, on most games, I don’t really think so at least not enough to worry about, unless you are planning on buying a more powerful GPU on the future those i3 should be ok.
