computer turns on but doesnt show display

i am building a computer for the first time and when i turn on my pc it boots but doesnt have a signal to the monitor.my dram led also blinks for 5 second when i turn on my pc .desperate for solutions ....

Have you tried any of these troubleshooting methods?
Be sure HDMI,VGA,DVI is connected properly.
If still no signal, check if all the fans are running properly, most importantly the gpu.
Try to reseat the ram, the main cause which no signal error occurs.
If still nothing works, try using onboard graphics, if you have an external gpu to determine if it is faulty or not.
