i have a seagate 750gb 7200rpm hdd to me it while playing games it sounds like its about to die i took a video whats your opinion on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiEuBv-xAeU

it took long time to boot into windows i still had to wait for a while for it to load some programes it crashed some of my games made them stutter and textures not load

Solution
Even better would be to buy 2 - 1 terabyte drives, or whichever size you need, and put them in a raid 1.

That way if one drive starts to fail you can replace it and continue to use the computer without having to reinstall windows.

Get an ssd like the evo 850 or the crucial mx300, life will be much better and price of a 500gb is arround 140 pound.

i did buy it used but only a month ago but only been using it for 2 weeks took it back to the shop and they said its was fine

why used hdd... new ones are not that expensive, 1tb hdd is like $40... Get a new one. How do you tell hard drive is not good any more? Is it just booting time or metalic sound? If latter, it means physical metal tip is scratching and you should get a new one asap.
